Oil Prices Rebound to New Levels

At the end of last week, oil prices reached the highest level since early March of this year. Brent Crude closed the week at $48.15, while WTI closed the week at $42.42 – with each of the crude oils gaining around $3.00 in one week. Since the end of October, crude prices (Brent and WTI) have increased by some 27%. However, crude prices still remain well below the pre-COVID levels. During the first week of January the price of Brent Crude was nearly $69.00, and WTI was around $63.00...
